COVID-19 COMMUNITY NOTICE
Camden Community Centre works closely with local residents, groups and agencies, to facilitate personal development and a healthy community. Providing innovative, quality services that encourage participation in community life for individuals thus enriching their lives and the lives of others.
Camden Community Centre is one of the largest Community Centres in Adelaide’s Western Region. It is a not for profit organisation, proudly owned by the Community, for the Community and operating for nearly 40 years.
Assists an average of 200 - 250 people per week who utilise our Centre
Provides approximately 50 two course hot meals per week
Provides Centre based social programs for clients
Men’s Woodwork Shed
Room hire at reasonable rates
Provides a variety of opportunities for volunteers to contribute to the community
Hosts a range of special interest groups providing specialised Activities
Pleasure Art group
Community Garden to grow your own veggies and herbs
Community Garden - HAS BEEN EXTENDED !!!

Short of garden space at home ? Feel like some extra company?
Come along and enjoy a garden bed to grow your own vegetables and herbs
$2.00 a week (includes soil and fertilizers)
As COVID-19 continues to disrupt life and business, Camden Community Centre has a responsibility to all staff, volunteers, clients, customers and members.
The safety and well-being of our community remains our top priority and as a result we have closed the Centre until further notice.
The following centre-based services/programs have ceased until further notice:
Social Programs for over 65's / Op Shop / Men's Shed / Art Group / Computer classes and saturday night Bingo at Camden Hall along with all volunteer programs
The Centre will remain open with limited staff - at this present time
Our aim is to ensure the health and well-being of our community
We appreciate and thank you for your understanding!

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from community members to sit on the Board of Management. In particular, people with financial, business development, community sector, fundraising and marketing skills are encouraged to register their interest.
