 WOODWORK SHED

Nelson's Victory Flagship

Built by one of our very talented Volunteers during Covid, Nelson's Victory Flagship sits proudly in a cabinet (made by Camden's Woodwork Shed Volunteers), in the foyer of the West Torrens Council Chambers.

WOODWORK SHED

The Camden Community Centre's Men's Shed is a timber framed single room that was formerly a school classroom.  It opened in September 2004 and has recently undergone an extensive renovation and upgrade. It has been operating continuously since then, currently at four days per week.  It is a volunteer function of the Camden Community Centre.

The men produce items for sale, such as cutting boards, bowls, and many other products to support the community centre.  These are all made from recycled, mostly Australian timbers.

The men also support the centre by attending to the Community Centre's general repairs and maintenance,  This means they share a wide variety of activities.

The more experienced volunteers share their skills and mentor the newer men and all of the men enjoy the company and contribute meaningfully to our community.

The shed is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

Opening hours:  9.30am - 1.30pm
